Grading scale
Meredith uses an unweighted grading scale. The College expects applicants to have at least an overall C in the following academic subjects to receive consideration for admission: English, foreign language, mathematics, history, social studies and natural sciences.
Standardized Tests
At Meredith, the range of test scores for enrolled students is wide because of the importance attached to strong performance in academic courses in high school. In recent years, the middle 50 percent of enrolling students have scored between 970 and 1170 (Critical Reading + Math only) on the SAT and between 19-24 on the ACT.
Recommendations
An applicant should provide recommendations from a school official and a teacher who has taught her in an academic subject in the 11th or 12th grade.
Health Record
Applicants must complete a medical history form which is sent in the Enrollment Handbook.
