NC Teaching Fellows Program
The North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program is one of the nation’s most ambitious teacher recruitment systems in the United States. The N.C. Public School Forum administers the program. Each year, the program selects 500 outstanding high school seniors to receive $26,000 scholarships/loans in exchange for their agreement to teach in a N.C. public school for four years following college graduation. Meredith is one of six private institutions selected to participate in the N.C. Teaching Fellows program. A total of 18 colleges and universities statewide participate. Visit www.teachingfellows.org for an application or additional information.
